Make Your Own Umeshu (Plum Wine) in Kyoto!
If you’re visiting Kyoto, this is the perfect experience for you if you love umeshu (plum wine)! Choose from unique sugars and spirits to create your very own one-of-a-kind umeshu. This is an opportunity to make plum wine and plum syrup that you can’t find anywhere else!

Experience Overview:
Choose from unique sugars like homemade sweet sake syrup and aged mirin, specially prepared for this experience.
You can taste different syrups and select the one that best suits your taste.
The finished umeshu or plum syrup will be packed in a stylish tote bag for you to take home.
Enjoy making luxurious umeshu with rare spirits such as “Hyakunen no Kodoku” (a famous Japanese whisky) and “Ki no Bi Kyoto Gin,” which are not easily available elsewhere!

Experience Details:
Introduction: Our staff will explain the flow of the experience.
Tasting Session: Sample different types of plum syrups and choose your favorite.
Making Umeshu: Using the ingredients you’ve selected, you’ll make your very own umeshu.
Gift: After completing the experience, you’ll receive a tote bag as a gift by answering a short survey!
The experience lasts about 45 minutes, and the process is very simple, making it fun for everyone, including children.
(Note: Children will make plum syrup, not alcohol.)

After the experience, you can enjoy shopping in the store.

2nd Bottle and Beyond: +¥2,500 (per person, including tax)
The price includes the experience fee, interpreter fee, materials, facility usage fee, and a takeaway box.
